Hello!

My name is Joie, I am 19 years Old, and I live in Oklahoma. I'm attending College, and I ramble in my Journal, I'm looking for journals to read! I rant and rave about things, I occasionally put up photo's (things and places). I draw and paint, but I'm not that grand at it. But it makes me happy. If you have a post, I usually try to Comment. Unless it's a twitter update O_O those usually don't make sense.

Hello! I'm not new to LJ but I'm looking for new friends. I don't update everyday.. more like once a week or around about. I try to update every week at least. My entries are usually kind of lengthy. I don't add people who have no interest in truely becoming friends and getting to know me.

So here is a little bit about me:

The name is Kesha. I'm twenty-one, married,a mommy, blessed, a christian, kind hearted, honest, loyal, strong, trustworthy, passionate, dependable, impatient, loving, but by no means am I perfect. I try to find a way to better myself everyday. I'm just generally an easy going, open minded, and down to earth person.

I'm married to the most wonderful man. He is African and next year we will be going there to stay for a while. I have to say I'm nervous, excited, an anxious to meet his family. More nervous about the plane ride with a two year old more than anything. I'm sure we'll make it fine though.

I would love to go back to school but because of reasons beyond my control that has been put on hold. I'm not exactly where I thought I would be at this point in my life but it's a work in progress.

I'm just a simple girl who loves living life and trying to make the best of the worst situation for my daughter. =)

Let's be friends?

Wexner Center announces partnership with South Campus Gateway
updated: November 15, 2009
Beginning in early January, the Wexner Center Film/Video program will begin continous programming of two screens within the newly christened Gateway Film Center's seven screens, essentially tripling the number of film screens at the Wexner Center's disposal. This means having access to an even fuller spectrum of film repertoire and allowing us to premiere more films at the Wex, which can then be immediately followed by their run at the Gateway. In addition, it allows Campus Partners to reconceive the entire Gateway theater venue to better accommodate the OSU community as well as local and regional audiences.

We believe this novel partnership underscores the Wexner Center’s standing as a unique and innovative film hub for the region, and will enhance our programming even further.

The films programmed by the Wexner Center will fall under the “Wex@Gateway” tag. Wexner Center members will receive member rates ($5) for Wex@Gateway films at all times and for other Gateway films shown Sunday through Thursday.

Watch our website for more updates and film screening information within the next month.

This is a little neat but I'm kinda tired of my place of work changing hands every couple years.

Single level 80 holy/prot paladin looking for semi-active, open minded fishing partner. Must love the Underbelly, have a skewed sense of humor, and not be afraid to fish in Alliance controlled Wintergrasp. :D

All inquries should be directed to the Horde Paladin Stefanis on the Feathermoon (RP) server. :]

A couple of weeks ago, I asked for help putting together a steampunk outfit for a Halloween costume. I didn't have much time/money to do too many additions, but I think it turned out okay anyway. Today, some friends of mine and myself got together for a photo shoot at a local college campus. I thought you might be interested in seeing the finished product, though I do apologize that I'm not necessarily the best model.

Fairly large pictures behind the cut. )
Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

This is really a longshot, but....

Two years ago our farm's stallion was sent to a small facility to be broken out. It was in Alliance, Ohio, and I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the place, the owner, or the working student that actually broke out the stallion. It's on the same road and very close to Mt Union College; in fact it's on the same road as the football field (you could see it from the barn). The working student was a 19 year old guy (so now he'd be 21) and he did an AMAZING job training. He placed high in AQHA Youth show the previous year in Barrels and Poles, and was qualified for the world show at the time he was breaking out the horse in the same events.

The reason I ask- sure, I could drive an hour out of my way and find the barn and go ask if the same people are there, or I can hope that someone would know maybe what I'm talking about and help me out. The working student was so good with the stallion that I would love to recommend people at my barn who have tried so many other people with terrible results.

Thank you for any help, even though this is like such a vague post. I want to say the WS's name was Brandon or Brendan or something like that, but I really don't remember.

I finished my new patch-work winter skirt. I'm thinking maybe I'll be Cinderella with some clockwork mice that do all my work.

I want an under-bust corset to go with it, but that will have to wait until all the gift giving holidays are over.

WOOT
Despite getting violently ill tonight (go figure I manage to get food poisoning) I still managed to have a great Saturday!

- Got not one, not two, not three but FOUR achievements on my baby mage :) this mage was rolled the day BC came out but me and clothies don't get on well so I decided to have a wack at her again.

- I also managed to get the 25 pet achievement on all 8 toons on Khadgar - woooot!

- Won the contest to appear on Sidhe Devils Gone Wild

- Hit 20 on the above mentioned mage almost 2 years to the day when she was created

So girls, how has your weekend shaped up on wow?

I'm hoping someone can help me.

Some fantastic person posted a pic of a onesie that said something like: Baby, level 5. Binds when picked up. I thought it was absolutely hilarious, and I wanted to get one for my baby to be, except like an idiot I never saved the link. Does anyone remember seeing anything like this? I can't remember if it was an actual post or just a comment in another post, but I want to get it so badly- I'd hugely appreciate your help!

Thanks so much!!! :)

Also- does anyone have an idea when patch 3.3 should be out? I really like the sound of the cross server random dungeon pug thing.

The newest outfit for my daughter, for a steamy zoo expedition tomorrow:

On Safari

The skirt is made from the same pattern I used to make her red and black outfit for SteamCon. The vest was made from Simplicity 2484. The boots and shirt are from Target, although I tea-dyed the shirt from its original white cotton state.

This was the "test run" of the outfit, to make sure the pieces were coming together. Once we knew everything fit and worked with each other, I added some antique mother of pearl buttons to the vest, and some lace to the collar and cuffs of the shirt, but it got too dark for another picture.

One more picture )

I just saw this video here and was wondering if anyone of you knows how the human form is chosen? Do we actually get to create that too, or is it preset from our choices when creating the worgen look?

I know it's early, but I'm really curious about it, so if any of you have had the opportunity to play the worgen stuff Blizz has made public... do you know?
